I am a second-year student studying Master of Information Systems Security and Management. As the GSA President, I intend to enhance the visibility of the resources available to graduate students, create a platform for networking and mentoring and be an accessible resource to help the students. I hope to ensure that every student feels represented, supported and valued. Further, I hope to work with the university to create institutional policies to support graduate students.

I am a friendly, optimistic and easy-going person from India, Asia who likes meeting new people and developing relations. I am an Experienced Risk Analyst from India, came to Canada to pursue my Master’s in Information Security Management. I am the current GSA Vice-President Academic Affairs and External Relations. As VP Academic and External Affairs, my job is to maintain internal communication with the students, the GSA executives and the faculty; and act as a liaison between them with regards to academic and nonacademic concerns. I am also the current Director of Alberta Graduate Provincial Advocacy Council (ab-Gpac), ab-Gpac is a student body that represents on behalf of more than 16,000 graduate students in Alberta.

I am Deepthi Gudapati from Hyderabad, India. Sit with me over a Biriyani & Harry Potter and we can go for hours on end! I am a second-year Master of Information System Security Management student at CUE. Being the GSA Vice President for Student Life and Learning, my responsibility is to oversee social events under the GSA’s umbrella. I make sure that graduates have the best possible experience in their college life.
